Reading interviews of bloggers is one of my most favorite ways to explore knowledge. But this time, I have decided to start a blogger’s interview series on my blog. And I am starting this series with my good blogging buddy, Saurabh Tiwari of Techibhai.com.
Saurabh is a very cool, down to earth guy. He always helps people wherever possible. If you are a member of my Facebook Group, you will find Saurabh is reacting almost in every single thread within a few seconds of posting.
I have asked a few questions to explore his blogging journey & key learning from his experiences so far. Let’s find out the complete Interview of Saurabh Tiwari.
This is the first interview of BloggingJOY Interview Series [BJIS-01]
1. Who is Saurabh Tiwari? Share about yourself & Your Blog
Thanks, Santanu for giving me this opportunity to answer your questions. It’s a pleasure to be on your blog.
Well, I’m an SEO professional and a full-time blogger. Other than that, I also like to cook, listen to music, and watch the Movies or Web Series when I find free time!
I entered an online marketing world when I joined a Digital Marketing Firm as SEO trainee.
My blogging career started in 2014 when I launched alldigitrends.net (Now I have Established AllDigiTrends as SEO Agency with the help of my Partner Navin Rao). Since then I have gone on to launch my other blogs including techibhai.com and alltemplatereviews.com
2. Why did you get into blogging and how?
Thanks, Santanu, for asking such an interesting question.
I Started blogging for Personal Branding. Well for me, Blogging is not something I do for fun.
Blogging has given me an identity of my own. As of today, I am not much Popular as other Indian Bloggers, but I have written Many posts on Medium, BeBee, Self-growth, e-learning-industry and many more blogs.
3. How did you decide your blogging niche? Any suggestions while choosing a niche?
The main reason, why I chose tech niche because of my obsession, the more I learned, about Apps, Smartphone’s and tech products, the more I wanted to dive into the world of endless opportunities.
And I’m happy to say that my Techibhai blog included as one of the Top 40 Smartphone Blogs by Feedspot.
Let me clear one thing for the newbie bloggers about what a niche is: A niche isn’t “blogging tips” “top 10 smartphones” or “weight loss”.
4. Are you a full-time blogger? What are your major income streams?
Yes, I am a full-time blogger now; I left my full-time Job last year.
Right now, for Techibhai blog income source is Sponsored Post, Ad Space, Product Reviews and AdSense and alltemplatereviews is totally dependent upon affiliate marketing.
5. Unemployment is a big issue in our country; do you think blogging is really worthy to generate a passive income or full-time income?
Of course, Yes.
Blogging is becoming better and professional day by day. But it’s not one day Job, if you want to become successful in the blogging field, you need to be more productive and have to do smart work.
Blogging is a great platform to help others with your expertise, and it is definitely becoming a good alternative source of making money online nowadays.
6. What are the most important things a beginner should consider before starting a blog?
If you are new in the blogging field, there are many things you should consider to start a blog. As I said in my recent interview, focus on a single blog in starting and choose a particular niche in which you have good knowledge.
7. How much money are you spending to maintain your blogging business?
How much it will cost to maintain a blog in a year, it may depend upon how much you can realistically afford to invest.
Apart from Hosting & Domain Bill per year, I spend money on Blogging tool, Paid advertising and sometimes Content writing too.
Maybe it’s around 30 to 40k per year.
8. What is the role of networking in your blogging business?
Networking is essential in blogging; it’s not only for building an audience but also for developing a great connection with other bloggers.
Ryan Biddulph (Blogging from Paradise) – Shares an awesome Guide, how we can grow blogging network.
9. Do you believe in SEO? What are the major SEO strategies you follow for your blog?
Of course, yes. In Blogging, it’s really important to try implementing different SEO strategies to drive blog traffic, As Google updates their algorithm almost every month, and SEO trends change very quickly, so it’s really important to understand what does and doesn’t work.
The most effective SEO strategies which I follow
- Create Unique Content
- Competitor Analysis & Backlinks
- Social Sharing
If you want to drive blog traffic through SEO efforts, you have to create a unique content that is worth visiting, Create Authority back-linking for that and ultimately social sharing.

10. What is the importance of social media in today’s blogging?
Social Media sites play a major role in blogging to Increase Instant blog Traffic and Post indexing. Facebook Groups, helps me a lot to get connected with other authority bloggers and has given me the opportunity to share my blogging knowledge with the newbie bloggers.
11. Do you meet with other bloggers or Digital marketers? If Yes, then how often?
Yes, I have met many bloggers and Digital Marketers in my real life, Rohan Chaubey, Umesh Singh, Parul Agrawal, Debshikha, Vivek Agrawal, Sarthok Singh, Shubhanshi Aggarwal, Akash Kandri, Naveen Kumar, Vashishtha Kapoor, Erika R. Mohssen-Bey and many more. They are the best in their Industry.
Blogging event and meet-ups help me to get this opportunity to meet with other bloggers and experts in the same field, even I have met with great Indian bloggers like Harsh Aggrawal and Kulwant Nagi.
12. Could you please share a few of your blogging mistakes? I am sure beginners will benefit from that.
The first big blogging mistake I made was not investing money back into our blog via hosting, Domain, Paid Tools, etc. And, I did not have much idea about SEO, Content Writing, Keyword Research, and many more things.
That’s what many newbie bloggers are still doing, they just start a blog for side hustle or to make money Online. Not knowing a single thing about blogging.
So, if you want to reach your destination, Go with the flow; keep updating yourself with Blogging trends, New Digital Marketing strategies as every little step towards it surely counts.
13. Many people think blogging is an easy and quick process to make money. What is your stand on that?
I don’t think so; Blogging requires creativity, energy, and perseverance. You can’t expect your blog to produce results straightaway.
14. How do you take the competition in blogging? Do you put enough efforts to improve your blogging skills?
If you’re a blogger, then you are 100% fighting for the same limelight as thousands of other bloggers out there.
As lots of competitors are out there, you need the right tools to get your tasks done quickly.
With the help of SEO tools, you can analysis almost all things like Competitor’s backlinks, most shared Content and keyword ranking too.
So, it’s really important to keep an eye on your competitors.
For improving my blogging skills, daily I spend around 2-3 hours to learn new strategies and blogging trends, I Mostly Follow Backlinko, Problogger, Neil Patel, Ahrefs and CognitiveSEO blog to grow my skill.
15. Are you really happy as a blogger? If given a chance to start your professional journey from the beginning, what exactly would you love to be?
Yes, I am happy where I am today. And all the mistakes that I made previously made me stronger because I have learned from them.

Hi Santanu,
I really missed this post. How come I missed this interview with our common friend Saurab.
He is one of the wonderful personalities I met on the world wide web. As someone said, he is really a generous personality who shares fellow blogger’s resources without any difficulty.
I had several such experiences with this loving personality. But sad to say somewhere I missed the line in the recent days. Good to recollect the activities of Saurabh.
Indeed he shared some interesting information about him as well as blogging. I like the part he shared about the failures or mistakes that happened in the initial stages of blogging. I could very well relate to some of them.
I wish this gentleman blogger all the best in his future endeavors.
Thanks, Santanu for bringing out more about this amazing personality.
Keep sharing.
Best Regards
~ Philip
